Our Ethos

Terra Nova is rooted in the ethos that every individual is a vehicle for creative expression. In the colonial-capitalist paradigm, our creative life force energy often remains dormant because we are conditioned to believe that creativity is not a safe and sustainable means of providing for ourselves and our families. We are told that if we want to survive, we must travel the well-worn paths of industry. We must work hard to survive. This is perhaps the biggest lie ever told.

When you study the laws of Nature and begin to understand how energy works, you come to see the Truth is actually quite the opposite. The systems were just designed to make it seem so. When we are freely expressing our creative gifts, we are creating health in our body, mind, and spirit. This is true abundance. True wealth is health. Terra Nova is paving a path out of the old structures that prescribe specific pathways to financial success, and instead take cues from the creative process that Nature follows.

Our mission is to help (re)awaken this creative pulse. We believe that the success of the community occurs when each individual is offering their unique gifts to the ecosystem. We are unraveling the hierarchical systems of the past that isolate power and decision-making to a few individuals at the top, which in turn stagnates the flow of creative energy and resources - an incredibly inefficient business model.

Rather than building an organization, we are facilitating the growth of a self-sustaining organism that will grow and flourish in alignment with the laws of Nature. It will expand through it’s own co-creative process with Life. Through returning to ancient ways of relating to Nature and reconnecting with our own true nature, we are pioneering a more effective and efficient way of doing business that generates more Life than it consumes.
